the only voice that kind of irks me now is muffy's voice...it's SO squeaky and high-pitched, but again it's because melissa altro has aged so it's going to be more strained. i've also noticed lately that binky sounds more and more like david, i wonder if bruce dinsmore is having trouble with binky's voice now. either that or binky is starting puberty  Laughing

i think buster has had a puberty and a reverse puberty...listen to him in arthur's eyes at 2:57

when you hear his first line you're like WHAT THE FUCKNUGGETS he sounds like a moody teenager and he basically sounds like that for the first half of season 1. my theory is that at first he had a reverse puberty and his voice gradually got higher, then he had a regular puberty and his voice gradually became slightly lower.

Buster's voice was very different in a few Season 1 shows. It's almost like Daniel Brochu wasn't accustomed to Buster's voice tone or something yet. I agree about Muffy's voice turning much more high-pitched (and annoying) lately. I seriously hate to criticize things like this, especially considering we still have these voice actors since day 1, but sometimes the truth hurts.

Also, by the way, Season 21 is scheduled to finish up in mid-February 2018. That's the first time we've ever gotten a new episode in the month of February. Titles, desciptions, dates, and all that are on the Wiki Season 21 page now.

it took a really long time for buster's voice to even out. for a while in the early seasons his voice was really scratchy, i think danny had trouble reaching those higher pitches. honestly buster's voice is pretty unique and it's always fluctuated slightly every few seasons, so if it's been a little deeper the past few seasons i don't really pay much attention to it. it's not distracting from the episodes or anything.

i agree, i don't like criticizing the original voice actors. at least they've still got it in some capacity, which i'm extremely grateful for. it's really pretty amazing. we should all be glad that they still want continue lending their voices to the arthur episodes for us to enjoy after 21 years.

season 21 finishing up in february? holy crap that's new  affraid

if the arthur characters were ever aged up (which i doubt they will be), i don't think there should be any pairings involved. i foresee it becoming very messy and really there's been enough speculation of that in the 2202091282922902 middle school/high school fanfics out there. i also don't think marc brown agrees with any pairings either...maybe that's changed, i dunno. he did muse about an adult spinoff a year or two ago, i have no idea what that would be all about. i tried searching for the article on the spinoff but it was taken down...

Dang it. No he remains ambiguous completely to any pairing buy Craig Bartlett would happily tell you who he has made canon and those he would like to. You can connect with him on FB too. He's a lovely guy.  I'm sure Marc is too but he may not respond to fan questions?
An adult spin off might have them all married or paired with...unseen ambiguous characters. While the adult crew meet up with their kids or whatever I'd wager the partners would not be shown or they'd be new characters purely used as minor background counterparts.

I mean we've seen Arthur have a crush on Sue Ellen. He was married to Francine in a dream then in the actual future Old Ma Fran and old Pa Arthur appear to be a married couple on the floating couch. Then again it's not plainly obvious but they are wearing wedding bands?

i always thought the scene in "and now let's talk to some kids" was brain's imagine spot because you hear the imagine spot jingle as the scene transitions to the future. i thought it was brain imagining arthur and francine watching him on tv...i assume it means that brain thinks arthur and francine will end up together??? scratch who knew he shipped them lol

The best part, of course, is that all the innocent students within that playground have a view of Slink's posing. The Tower of Former Pain sure is a convenient location for this form of revelation, isn't it?

'Slinks's Special Talent' definitely has the most novel premise of the dullness that comprises Season 21, largely for the novelties of finally giving Slink an episode after nineteen seasons and featuring Michael Yarmush in a starring role for the first time since 'Arthur's Perfect Christmas'.

Well I certainly can't. I'm sure you're right, you watch Arthur more than I do as I'm busy with my daughter and admit, I'm more a Hey Arnold fan but still enjoyed those Two epidodes

You're definitely correct, but I can't pinpoint exactly when we last saw Slink's eyes. I seem to recall a moment where Slink lifts his fringe up in 'The Law of the Jungle Gym', although I haven't seen much from season 9 in the past year.

Slink is an enigma most definetly.
Who knows what other layers of depth there are to this determined tall preteen bunny?
