I'm really looking forward to all of the upcoming episodes.  I've likewise been quite pleased with Season 18, and have high hopes from this point forward.
I have to wonder if Some Assembly Required will involve D.W. and Emily trying to screw Bud's hat back onto his head after it came loose earlier this season.
After all, he's not quite fully-assembled without it. Razz

The March schedule has been posted on KET's website. No new season 18 episodes all month unfortunately. Repeats of season 18, 17, 6, and 7 (except April 9th) are scheduled. Season 8 will begin at the end of the month, which seems to be a less frequently aired season from what I've noticed.

And yes! I'm more than excited for Shelter from the Storm! Very Happy

The second halves of the new seasons seem to usually air in April or May, I've noticed.

More like 1912, lass. Anyone watch Downtown Abbey? Because I sure don't. BUT. I'm going to watch a few episodes to get familiar with it before Fountain Abbey airs.

Not a bad idea about brushing up on the source material. It'll make analyzing the episode and searching for little Easter eggs all the more fun.

I'll make sure to record the January 26th episode on DVR, because it's a new one...

I know I said I was going to sit the rest of the season out, but since such a big deal was made out of "Fountain Abbey," I watched today anyway.

"Fountain Abbey" turned out to be kind of a so-so episode... I guess maybe if I actually watched DOWNTOWN ABBEY, I might have been able to get more out of it, but, eh.

I didn't get to see all of "Arthur Calls It". I loved the teaser that parodied how inaccurate GPS devices can be with directions, causing Bitzi to drive through the country, plow through a field, splash through a river, etc. Hilarious. The rest of what I saw felt like another throwback to earlier seasons and episodes, but Francine's Flanderization was really kicked into high gear in this episode.

They had a similar gag in "Buster's Carpool Catastrophe" from Season 15, also with Bitzi, although that was a less extreme example. Muffy tells her that the model she's using is "defective" and it says to make an impossible right turn on an overpass. When Bitzi pulls over, it says "You have arrived at your destination". Laughing

I noticed today that the storyboard for "The Substitute Arthur" was done by Rick Marshall.

So that's what the dad did after he managed to get out of the Land of the Lost while leaving his two kids behind and their uncle had to go after them.

Where's all the discussion for the previous episode? Lol.
FOUNTAIN ABBEY was just a cheap cash in two years too late...nothing special.
ARTHUR CALLS IT was mediocre... Tired and true in other children's television programs.

Re: Season 18 Discussion

Fountain Abbey seemed like it initially started out in early production as an episode that took place in the past, then somebody on the production staff said "Hey, this episode is almost like Downton Abbey. We should make this a parody of it."

But I agree, for all the hype surrounding Fountain Abbey it wasn't a very good episode. Especially considering veteran writer Kathy Waugh was behind it.

Reading ahead of the season, I just realized Some Assembly Required is a direct ripoff of the Rugrats episode The Box: kid waits for new playset to be assembled, but ends up playing with the box it came in, using the power of imagination.

And they already did an episode like that: "Read and Flumberghast": D.W. plays with the box the new fridge came in and turned it into her and Nadine's office.

Look at this! PBS is showing season 8 mixed with 15, but episodes in order for their respective season. Then all of seasons 16 and 17 in order, and the first 5 episodes of season 18 in order. The list ends there, but it should be updated by tomorrow, so I will check it again then. Hopefully, this means the new episodes are coming at the end of May!
