Well, y'know, it's a 34 year old man who's providing Buster's voice, so yeah, it's understandable that he may sound a bit mature for an eight year old boy. XD
Has anyone noticed how Danny has provided his voice for the majority of the Arthur promos or other segments of the show? He must get extra cash on the side for doing it...or maybe no one else is as willing to do it, idk. Either way, he sure does a lot for the show. Good ol' Buster. Very Happy

He's definitely one of the most unique voices in the show.  I'm still impressed with the fact that he's managed to maintain that voice all throughout puberty and well into adulthood.   albino

I think they use Buster's voice in the promos because 1.) he's perhaps the most popular character with the 3-8 crowd and 2.) the fact that he has stayed consistent throughout the years. Having a different voice of Arthur do the promos would be too confusing.

Going by Daniel Brochu's age (born in 1980) that would have made him 14 or 15 when they started recording. He probably already went through puberty by then, so his voice stayed the same.

Good points, Roabe.
No, his kids don't voice Buster, and if they did, his voice would change drastically. You'd be able to tell the difference.

I hope PBS has something at least planned for the anniversary. The way things are going right now it seems like they just push Arthur to the side and focus on their newer programs. Sad

Based on that All About Arthur video and the timing of its release, I think they do have something planned and are just keeping very hush about it. For all we know, Marc Brown and the Arthur crew could be in top-secret talks with Joe Fallon and Ken Scarborough to write Season 20. Or in top-secret talks with the current and previous voice actors to get them all together for a reunion/documentary.

I can see where you're coming from Bionic, because I had my fears that Season 18 would be the show's last after the intro to Season 16's The Best Day Ever... Sad

I'm just hoping we can get a Complete Series release and individual season sets for a nice cost if this is the case.

I thought they were priced closer to 15-20 dollars..? On Amazon, each episode is $2 and each season is $15.

In 2008 or so the PBS website released big box sets of Seasons 7,10,and 11-priced at around $50 compared to their store's individual disk releases priced at $9.99 for eight episodes!

Another thing I'd like to see-Ray Fabi should put the music score out on a CD,along with the release of every song featured in the show ever in a "ultimate" CD of sorts-Yes,I'm a completist, and yes,I'm so old school that I still use CDs.

Kevin Manthei did a similar thing for Invader Zim a few years back-- released almost every track of the show's music on a multi-CD collection, called "The Amazing ZIM-phony." It contained a whopping 325 tracks (ok, so some of those are intros/commentaries but still, that's a lot of music).

I wish Mr. Fabi, or whomever owns the rights to the music, would do the same.
