'And Now A Word From Us Kids' Cut In The UK

When watching Arthur online, I used to be surprised at the sections with the kids. As in the UK they cut them out. Why do you think this is?

I believe they were cut from international airings to make room for network advertisements. PBS doesn't do adverts during their programs so they have extra time to waste.

Which channel is this? I don't keep track of foreign Arthur channels besides TVOntario.

I guess there are many reasons the segments could be cut, ranging from the more localized topics that might fly over British heads to people just not being interested in watching school children gallivant around some project related to the prior Arthur episode.

So many of PBS's kids shows involve some kind of recurring segment featuring real kids, maybe with PBS, it's a standard or something? I don't know.
